One of the key tenets of our church’s culture is the abiding impact of God’s Word in all of our life and especially in our worship. We meet weekly for the Lord’s service on Sundays at 9:00 AM to corporately confess our sins, to hear the word of God spoken and taught, and to commune with the Lord at the King’s table. We believe in the regular exposition of the Scriptures and the Bible’s authority in the life of individuals, families, and culture. You will see our church family worshipping our Triune God together on Sundays including adults, youth, and children. We sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs as responses to God’s grace and mercy conveyed to us through His word and blessings. Here is an example of a typical order of service:
- Call to worship
- Hymn of response: (example: Psalm 100 – All People that on Earth do Dwell)
- Prayer of confession
- Declaration of forgiveness
- Scripture reading
- Hymn of response to God’s word: (example: Our God, Our Help in Ages Past)
- Expositional Sermon of God’s Word
- Hymn of response to God’s word: (example: The Church’s One Foundation)
- Preparation for the Lord’s Table: Scripture reading and explanation
- Hymn of response: (example: In Christ Alone)
- The King’s table with bread and wine
- Psalm of response: (example: Psalm 25 – Unto Thee O Lord, My Savior)
- Congregational prayer
- Hymn of commissioning (example: Mighty Lord, Extend Your Kingdom)
- Commissioning of the saints
On the first Sunday of every month we hold a fellowship meal after the worship service.
